The seventh seminar by the new "Overall Research on Ottoman Historical Records" subgroup

The Toyo Bunko IAS Center will present the 7th readingfirst seminar by the the new “Overall Research on Ottoman Empire Historical Records” subgroup on June 27th 2009 (Sat) at the Toyo Bunko.

The Toyo Bunko IAS Center is pleased to announce the establishment this year of a new "Overall Research on Ottoman Empire Historical Records" subgroup that will focus on historical documents of the Ottoman Dynasty Era.

This “"Overall Research on Ottoman Empire Historical Records”" subgroup has as its goals, a series of reading seminars from the work of late Ottoman Empire jurist and historian Ahmet Cevdet Pasha entitled “"Protocol”" (Tezakir), and a Japanese translation of the same.

Anyone interested is heartily encouraged to join us.
